A Message from the president
Dear Members and Visitors,
Welcome to the Tau Sigma Phi Sorority website! As the National President, it’s both an honour and a joy to represent such a remarkable and dynamic organization. Tau Sigma Phi was built on the idea of “true sisters forever,” celebrating lasting sisterhood and support. I’m excited to uphold this tradition with the incredible support of our dedicated members.
When I moved from Regina, Saskatchewan to Ottawa, Ontario for university in 2013, I was both excited and homesick. Luckily, Tau Sigma Phi’s Alpha Chapter quickly became my new home when I joined a year later, which was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The following four years as an active member were filled with growth, from guiding new members as the New Member Educator to mentoring three wonderful “little sisters” and working with amazing organizations like Be The Choice and OneMatch. Now as an alumna, and member of the National Board I have the privilege of helping other undergraduate students have a similar experience!
For the 2025/26 academic year, we’re eager to create an environment where each member can shine academically, socially, and personally. Our sorority’s legacy is rooted in the values of sisterhood, loyalty, and integrity, and we are dedicated to embodying these ideals in all that we do. This year, our chapters have an incredible lineup of events, from impactful philanthropic projects that support breast cancer research to fun social gatherings that bring us closer together. Each activity is crafted to enrich our members’ lives and make a positive difference beyond our sisterhood.
