the role of the National Board

In the fall of 2016, the Tau Sigma Phi National Board was established to uphold and promote our motto, “True Sisters Forever,” across Canada. Born from the steady success of each chapter, the creation of this governing body reflects the dedication and leadership of our members.
The National Board is made up of volunteer alumnae who choose to stay involved after graduation to support the growth of the organization and connect with the next generation of sisters. While we provide structure, mentorship, and national coordination, we do so informally—as a team of dedicated members, not as a corporate board or paid administrative body. Our work is rooted in loyalty, integrity, and sisterhood, and driven by a shared love for Tau Sigma Phi.
In addition to supporting active chapters and helping new ones take shape, the National Board hosts our annual conference, bringing members together to reflect on the past year and help shape the future of the organization. The Board also awards an annual scholarship to recognize one outstanding member for their academic excellence and commitment to the sorority.
Together, we help keep the heart of Tau Sigma Phi beating strong—so every sister, present and future, can experience the same lifelong bond we did.
